Bruce Bartlett has made himself a pariah in many conservative circles for advocating higher taxes, but he's handing out sound financial advice. Borrow and spend is not a viable course of action.
ReplyDeleteThat's too bad he's not getting the ear of more conservatives, but I guess it makes sense too. Such a "taboo" chunk of advice to be giving. Ironically, though, he's still uphold the main tennets of conservative policy in his argument, which is what made it so interesting for me to hear.
